Apple Beat Samsung Three Months


From October to January Apple did something that a lot of analysts probably didn’t expect: Apple whooped Samsung in market share with their smartphones.

A new report from research firm comScore has unveiled the three month percentages for the likes of Apple, Samsung, HTC and Motorola, to name a few.

The news comes courtesy of iDownloadBlog where Apple maintained 34.3 percent of subscribers from October and raised that bar by 3.5 percent in January, to 37.8 percent.
Samsung managed to go from 19.5 percent in October to 21.4 percent in January, gaining 1.9 percent over the course of three months.
Interestingly enough, the Android OS has control over more than 50 percent of the mobile market, with Google controlling 53.6 percent in October and 52.3 percent in January, losing 1.3 percent over the course of three months. Apple, on the other hand, gained 3.5 percent of the OS market share with iOS, moving up from 34.3 percent in October to 37.8 percent in January.

personally like Nick Hayek (Swatch CEO) just do not believe that iWatch potential to replace the iPhone, he said: "Personally, I do not believe it's the next revolution," According to the small screen size would be a failure for apple, consumers buy watches only to the needs of fashion. "Replacing iPhone with interactive terminals on your wrist hard you can not have a big screen .." he said at a press conference on annual results in Grenchen, Switzerland

Although there is no hint of what kind of iWatch later, but the patent application shows that Apple will implement wraparound design with a glass touchscreen display that is flexible and of course use the full version of iOS.
